Steam-punk Contest!

I won FIRST prize (instead of Grand prize) which is a copy of the game Damnation (which was panned in reviews... oh well) but at least I know I'm one of the top 6 people who entered the contest (1 Grand prize winner and 5 First prize winners) if they post the other entries online then I'll post a link!

steam-punk WIP 4

I'm just posting for progress, This is what I have done with my re-concepted furnace/boiler/generator... in my earlier "concept" I did wasn't sufficient... let alone interesting enough to follow through with... I really just rushed to build the thing without thinking too much about it... so I put a lot of research into it and now it's supposed to be a scavenged steam-engine modified to generate electricity.... A lot of the bits and pieces are missing (a lot of the parts that actually make it a 2-way valve system for instance) but this is the over-all look of the thing, all I need to do is add some magnets around the generator and all of the smaller parts of the 2-way valve system ... ya that's a long description... This isn't the whole scene because I haven't worked on the other parts recently, this is just for the engine.

Steam-punk WIP Day 3

Day 3 of Steam-Punk project... Didn't get to do as much today as I wanted... I actually didn't wake up till 4PM soooo it's obvious to draw conclusions that I'm pretty spacey with around 13 hours of sleep the night before... ANYWHO I did get to work on the furnace finally... I'm still working on how to add a coal pile... I dunno... that's going to be a problem solving event, if you have ANY suggestions please tell me... I think the Chair is pretty much done... I am going to have to add a power line from the [yet to be created] power source to the chair but other than that I think I'm sticking with it as is...

PLEASE give me any critique/ideas you got for me!

It's probably only my current state of mind... but I feel like I'm running out of steam... HAH! STEAM! ya... I'm pretty wiped out...

Day 2! Hope it makes a little more sense with the one arm control added... and the control panel...

it's going to be part of a steam-punk themed set... this piece of the set isn't even finished yet...

I kinda think it looks like a hair-dryer-machine thingy...
